Lutheran Medical Center Legacy Campus

Lutheran Medical Center has served Wheat Ridge and the surrounding communities on West 38th Avenue for nearly 125 years. It evolved from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium into a thriving community hospital and Level II Trauma Center. It remains the only hospital in Jefferson County that delivers maternity and newborn care.

Featured Artwork at Lutheran Hospital

One of our guiding principles in building the new Lutheran Hospital was to provide an unparalleled patient experience. Floor-to-ceiling windows and quite areas for respite were just the beginning.

Beautiful and engaging artwork is needed to help support a brighter, calming environment. The result is a unique collection of breathtaking, locally sourced artwork and sculptures throughout the hospital grounds.
