Where the Past Meets the FutureSaint Joseph Hospital has been one of Denver’s founding institutions since 1873, when the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth opened Colorado’s first private hospital. For nearly 150 years since, Saint Joseph and Denver have grown together. Today, the hospital furthers a legacy of healthcare that includes compassionate caregivers, stellar clinical expertise and innovative partnerships with Kaiser Permanente, National Jewish Health and other community-based organizations advancing health in Denver. Saint Joseph is a premier hospital within Intermountain Health and is housed in a state-of-the-art, nationally acclaimed facility.
