Program Details

Curriculum Focused on Medical Excellence

Our Family Medicine curriculum at Saint Joseph Hospital is strong; you will complete the program having admitted patients to the ICU, delivered countless babies, and performed myriad hospital procedures. By the end of your tenure, you will have cared for over 1,800 clinic patients and performed hundreds of office procedures including colposcopy, ultrasounds, fracture care, joint injections, vasectomies, and minor surgery.

Acting Internships

The family medicine acting internship is designed to broaden students' experience within the full scope of the practice of family medicine as it relates to ongoing comprehensive care of the patient. Students work closely with both the family medicine faculty and residents throughout the rotation.

The Saint Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship provides residents with experience in care for obstetrics patients, as well as high-risk case management. We offer an environment that enhances both clinical skills and personal development in the chosen emphasis.
